The YogaHub Standard of Health & Safety

We’re fully committed to making yoga safe for everybody, so you’ll notice a few essential changes when you step into our studios.

Our instructors are actively working to support clients through the COVID-19 pandemic to bring them both physical and mental health. We are offering virtual wellness programs to keep teams strong, focused and connected during this challenging time.

Safe In-Person Classes

For our in-person outdoor classes, please take a moment and review our updated policies and procedures so that we can maintain the flow of people and the practice. Note, we are staying attune to guidance from local and national officials and will quickly adapt the policies and procedures if necessary. Subscribe to our email newsletter and follow us on social media to see the latest updates.

  • Limited Class Capacity

Pre-register for class to save your spot, and be sure to set up your mat using the mat markers on the studio floors to keep a safe distance from other students. Be sure to only register for the in-person classes you are confident you will attend as a $22 drop-in fee will be charged for No Shows and made cancelations within 24 hrs.

  • Limited Contact

You’ll keep a 6 feet physical distance with other class participants and bring belongings with you to the mat (no lockers or lobby parties for now). Markings on the floor will help you maintain the Governor’s mandated distance from other students.

  • Employee Health Check & Training

Yoga teachers will take a self temperature check prior to coming in to work and will also be receiving training on all new procedures.

Keep yourself and other safe:

1. Enter if Symptom-Free: Before planning to come to the studio, check-in with your health. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 (including cough, shortness of breath, or fever), please do not enter the studio. See this CDC website page for a comprehensive list of symptoms. See this Mass Government website page to learn about testing. We invite you to access livestream and on-demand classes if you aren’t well enough to get to the studio.

2. Pre-register for Class: Classes will be limited capacity, so you must pre-register for class to ensure a spot. Walk-ins are temporarily on hold. Explore yoga classes.

3. Bring Your Own Props: Make sure that you have everything you need for practice (including mat, towel, water bottle, etc.) since shared props will not be available for use.

4. Masks Required: Pack a mask, as you will be required to wear a mask throughout the lobby and as you practice. If you have a medical need which requires a mask exemption, please contact Ali Singer at ali@yogahub.life. She will engage with you through an interactive process which helps identify an appropriate alternative accommodation, while also continuing to uphold safety standards and government requirements in these uncertain times.

5. Communicate Positive Test Results: If you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, get tested. Learn more about testing and where to get tested on this Massachusetts Government website page. If tested positive, learn about the Community Tracing Collaborative to support health officials in their efforts to track the spread and reduce additional exposure to others by encouraging testing, supporting quarantine and social distancing
