We are hiring an Digital Marketing Specialist to amplify our social media presence and drive website traffic. Our company consists of the Founder and CEO, Vice President, and a team of YogaPros, whom we contract to provide yoga services for hotels, offices, and residences. We are a small startup company in our second year; successful candidates will have an opportunity to demonstrate leadership and grow with us. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the CEO and Vice President to discuss projects and demonstrate results. The ideal candidate is interested in or works part-time in the wellness/yoga industry. Work should be completed remotely; candidates must have their own smart phone, computer, and work space. Expected weekly hours: 10-15. Strong candidates will have 1-2 years experience in marketing or social media management, and/or have an active personal brand.
Develop marketing strategy and/or adhere to marketing guidelines to maximize reach and impact across all digital platforms.
Identify new platforms and methods for marketing Yoga Hub to targeted audiences; develop marketing strategy to maximize sales and community base.
Update and manage profiles on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) to expand Brand awareness in Metro Boston. Create original content and campaigns or share industry news/memes/photos in daily posts in order to keep profiles active. Connect with individuals and businesses to maximize social media following.
Design, write, and coordinate website updates to ensure information is clear, concise, and accurate. Collect information from instructors and executives to compile relevant content. Work closely with CEO and Vice President in order to keep Brand consistent.
Create and manage Linkedin profile to connect and engage with Human Resource departments in local companies and identify potential partners. Communicate with yoga and organizational wellness communities on Linkedin to become a voice on the platform and increase Brand awareness.
Monitor and engage with Facebook Group to identify opportunities and minimize spam. Purvey the “good vibe” Brand voice when posting.
Track and measure internet marketing impact to determine what efforts yield the most value; Create monthly reports dictating key performance indicators and campaign successes.
Knowledge and experience in corporate marketing on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Experience in navigating Linkedin and effectively using it to connect with individuals and companies.
Writing consistently with Brand voice.
Researching industry trends and competitors.
Using Squarespace and Wordpress to design and update websites.
Measuring the impact and effectiveness of marketing efforts across marketing platforms
Tracking and logging work hours and activities
Takes initiative to identify projects that will effectively build Brand awareness.
Works efficiently; is results-oriented. Manages time effectively.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members.
Uses critical thinking to purvey the Brand in every outlet.
Expresses creativity and humor in social media content.
